God Liberty Constitutional Teachings

We believe that all truth comes from the God of the Bible. We are passionate about expressing these truths through Good News teachings of the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and the Church’s vital role in culture and government. These teachings are based on God’s Word, the Bible, which include the Gospel of Grace, the Church’s role as salt and light in culture, and how God established government. We will emphatically show how America’s founding fathers were patriots on a path that embraced these Biblical truths. This “Patriot’s Path” was the catalyst that emboldened our forefathers to proclaim “liberty” and was instrumental in the founding of our nation. Two favorite quotes from the second U.S. president, John Adams, are pillars for The Patriot’s Path teachings concerning Christianity’s influence on America:

“The Declaration of Independence laid the cornerstone of human government upon the first precepts of Christianity.”

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

The Patriot’s Path is equipping the next generation to proclaim liberty and be defenders of the republic.

GOD

Most people have no idea that God has a government. This government has jurisdiction, authority, structure, and purpose and is often referred to as “God’s Kingdom.” This kingdom is where God’s way of doing things is brought forth and implemented through His people who will shape culture. It involves every aspect of life and is the reason that God ordained self, family, church, and civil governments so that people might be able to live quiet and peaceable lives in the here and now. LIBERTY

Most think that liberty and freedom are synonymous with each other. There are in fact similarities, but their origination and purpose are vastly different. Our forefathers knew that liberty comes only from God. This was so self-evident to them that they stated it in the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” Our forefathers knew liberty, like life, was given to us by God. Liberty is a part of what makes up the whole person and is the protector of the individual’s rights which are emphatically expressed through the ability of self-government and right of conscience. Freedom, on the other hand, is something that a government grants; liberty is completely different because the individual owns it, and it is part of the individual and no government can take it away! We will talk about this in The Patriot’s Path teachings.

THE CONSTITUTION

The preamble to the Constitution starts out with “We the People” and it was George Washington who stated:

“The power under the Constitution will always be in the people.” For many of us, these words have been disregarded or lost. We no longer understand the implication of the great experiment enshrined in America’s founding through the ideas of self-government, right of conscience, and how “We the People” hold the power. For over 5500 years of recorded history, no people had ever conceived such ideas in which to form a nation, let alone implement it. Such is America! We are a nation conceived in liberty and held together by our Constitution that secures rights of each individual and holds the government in check by granting the essential power to “We the People”! This is why President Reagan in 1981 stated the following: “We are a nation that has a government—not the other way around. And this makes us special among the nations of the Earth. Our government has no power except that granted it by the people. It is time to check and reverse the growth of government which shows signs of having grown beyond the consent of the governed.” We hope to bring more understanding about this through The Patriot’s Path; God Liberty Constitution Teachings.
